Cooper is located on Washington Street at the corner of Lenox Street, two blocks towards Dudley Square from Massachusetts Avenue. We are between the Mandela Apartments and Ramsay Park. A large colorful mural on the front of our building defines the building. We have a small parking lot behind Cooper; accessible off Lenox Street.

From the South

• Take 93 North to exit 18 (the Mass. Ave/Back Bay Shopping Area exit).
• Turn Left onto Melnea Cass, toward Mass Ave & the Boston Medical Center
• Once on Melnea Cass, merge to the right turning right onto Mass Ave. at the light (near Boston Medical Center)
• Go thru 2 sets of lights, and then take a left at the intersection of Mass Ave. and Washington Street. Cooper is two blocks up on the right, crossroad is Lenox Street.

 

From the North Take 93 North to exit 18 (the Mass. Ave/Back Bay Shopping Area exit). On the exit road, stay to the right turning right onto Mass. Ave. (near Boston Medical Center) Go thru 2 sets of lights, and then take a left at the intersection of Mass Ave. and Washington Street. From the West:

• Take the Copley/Prudential exit off the Mass Turnpike.
• Bear left towards Prudential, and come out onto Huntington Avenue.
• Go to Mass. Ave., staying to the right. (do not go down into the tunnel under Mass. Ave.) Turn left onto Mass. Ave., go several blocks, and turn right onto Washington St. (the intersection of Mass. Ave and Washington is a large stop) Cooper is two blocks up on the right, crossroad is Lenox Street.

On public transportation:
The nearest T stop is the Mass. Ave. stop on the Orange line. Walk down Mass. Ave. towards the Boston Medical Center, turn right on Washington Street, and Cooper is two blocks up on the right.

The Mass. Ave. bus from Cambridge stops at the intersection of Mass. Ave. and Washington Street.

The Silver Line bus (Washington Street transportation) can be taken from Dudley Station to the center. (bus stop located directly in front of building)

Directions to Cooper’s Infant & Toddler Program

Our Infant and Toddler program, located at the Bromley Heath Housing Development in Jamaica Plain, is accessible by public transportation.

The nearest T stop is the Jackson Square stop off the Orange Line. The housing development is located directly behind the T stop.
